You want drama,?excitement?and breathless action from watching soccer? Well, that's what the U.S. and Canada offered in a thrilling 4-3 win for the United States. There was a Christine Sinclair hat trick. There was a United States team that came back three separate times. There were controversial calls. There was overtime. And as is the American way, there was a stoppage-time winner in overtime to move the U.S. to the gold-medal match against Japan.

Gymnastics: Despite already having two gold medals at the 2012 Summer Olympics, Team USA star gymnast Gabby Douglas failed at her attempt to take home another medal on the uneven bars Monday, finishing in eighth place with a score of 14.9.
Judo: Friends don't let friends eat pot brownies, especially if they also happen to be an Olympian on the U.S. judo team. The Washington Post reports American judoka?Nick Delpopolo was sent home from the London Olympics after he tested positive for?metabolites of cannabis. The positive test came after the 23-year-old's July 30 competition. In all, the young man from Westfield, N.J., placed seventh, beating fighters from both Hong Kong and Belgium.
Basketball: It looked like France was going to run away with its final group-stage game. The medal contenders were beating Nigeria 23-10 at the end of the first quarter, but they slowly let the lead slip away and were forced to claw out a 79-73 victory.
